Who are we?

SWAGGA Primary Care Network is a collaboration of 16 GP Practices working together to improve patient care.  It is an extensive network with a diverse population of approximately 105,000 patients. SWAGGA PCN’s Women’s Health Hub has been in operation since 2021 and aims to improve access to women’s services in our local area. Our clinics run out of GP Surgeries that are part of the SWAGGA Primary Care Network. Our current locations include:

What do we offer?

We provide several services to patients within our network. This includes insertion and removal of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (coils and implants). We can offer coils for all indications (including contraception, heavy periods and as part of Hormone Replacement Therapy).  We also offer ring pessary insertions and changes. Additionally, we have a small, limited specialist HRT & menopause service (1 clinic per month).

How can I access the service?

You can access the Women’s Health Hub services via your GP surgery (the reception can refer you directly, or you can ask a health care professional to book you a telephone triage appointment). We have also recently developed an online Coil & Implant self-referral form for patients (click the link on the right side menu - coil and implant request form)
